What should we look for in a security installation company?
There are many companies that are passing themselves off as security companies, when in fact they are IT or technology companies. This goes for installers as well as manufacturers. What is the difference? A technology company creates or installs parts. They know how to make the parts work, and on the surface, they may even do a passable job at it.
A security company on the other hand, uses technology as a tool to provide you the comfort of knowing that your premises are secure. A security company looks at many aspects: camera angles, where are potential trouble spots?, what will stand up in court?, how are the lighting conditions and is more lighting required? How else can we enhance the security of your premises?
You should always make sure that you are dealing with a company with a background in security, and remember to ask for references and proof of insurance.

They provide a general description of a product, and a means for you to purchase the product at a reasonable price.
